This case report involve a 15 years old patient with Haemophilia A that suffered a bleeding episode that was complicated with inhibitors appearance. In this case it is mentioned the importance of inhibitor testing in order to optimize the use of Factor VIII and the clinical implications when the correct treatment with Recombinant Factor VIIa (rFVIIa) was used in a surgical intervention and the outcome for the patient. The approximate cost of this patient was of 135,000 USD, they would have been lower, if from the beginning we had had the diagnosis of inhibitors and rFVIIa.
